Welcome to Sherman Elementary School!

Partnership Coordinator Information

Volunteer Opportunities
What is the role of Sherman's Partnership Coordinator?

The Partnership Coordinator collaborates with faculty, community members, local business partners, and volunteers to develop programs and opportunities to enhance student and family success. This includes communicating and promoting opportunities within the school and the district to community members, families, local media, and others to increase engagement within our school.

How does the Partnership Coordinator fulfill this role?
At Sherman, this is done by organizing and nurturing community partnerships. Here are just a few of the organizations Sherman partners with; Sherman Steering Committee (SSC), UWEC, RCU, Feed My People, Fuel Up to Play 60, Lifetouch, Scholastic, Junior Achievement, several local small businesses, local churches, and countless other organizations and businesses.

Please feel free to contact Samantha Zappa with any questions you have about Sherman events, donations, and volunteer opportunities!

Potential Volunteers are required to complete two forms:

ECASD Volunteer Agreement ‚Äč
(Valid for 1 school year)

Volunteer Disclosure/Release of Information E-mail Consent Form
(Valid for 3 calendar years)

Steps to completing the Disclosure/Release of Information form online:
1. Potential Volunteers complete the bottom portion of the form and return it to Sherman Elementary.
2. Potential Volunteers then check their e-mail inbox daily for an e-mail sent directly to them via Fidelitec Service.
3. The potential Volunteer then opens the Fidelitec Service e-mail and completes all necessary information required securely online. (Doing this will eliminate social security numbers being transferred from person to person on paper.

*If you do not have access to the internet or email, you may request a paper version of the Disclosure/Release of Information form from the school at any time.
