Special Olympics

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Fundraising
  • Perfect Split - a fundraiser where families sponsor their athlete for a flat amount for the bowling season. A really neat way for families to contribute to the program that is involved in their child's life.
  • Country Jam Volunteer Opportunities - Country Jam provides us with some chances to make some money.  Contact Stephanie Travis for more information.
  • Concessions - The ECASD Special Olympics program occasionally does fundraising through the sale of concessions at sporting events.
