State Special Olympics Skills Competition: Congratulations to Owen Medina and Andrew Armstrong who competed this past weekend in the State Special Olympics skills competition in Oskosh! Andrew took 5th place in his division and Owen took 2nd, bringing home a silver medal, in his division. Both athletes competed with honor and made DeLong and their coaches proud. Way to go, Andrew and Owen! POP: Our field trip is NEXT Tuesday. You must turn in your permission form by Thursday if you want to attend. Attention Collectors: If you have a collection and would like to show-it-off, please see Ms. Ruhe or Ms. Gullicksrud. There is a display case in the hallway that your cool collection will be shown off for the whole school to admire. Congrats to the April Book Set Winners: 6th: Parker Paulsrud, Simon McCandless, James Lange 7th: Anyeli Madrid Arita, Elaina Thomas, Jeremiah Gibson 8th: Elsie Lemahieu, Brooklyn Weyers New Artists of the Month: Every month students from every grade will be nominated by their art teachers & their work will be displayed for the entire month outside the attendance office. These students not only demonstrate creativity & artistic skills but have qualities that go above and beyond. They are passionate to learn, create, help others and understand how important art is to our everyday lives. Thank you for who you are and who you strive to be here at DeLong!
