Credit Component

Student Profile:

  • Earn a 23.5 credit McKinley diploma

Students work to complete a credit-based high school diploma, develop social skills, and achieve an internal locus of control.

Individualized academic and behavioral plans are developed for each student. Curricula includes integrated, thematic, adventure-based, community-based, and environmental units, as well as independent study opportunities.

Classes are offered on-site from 9 AM to 3 PM from September through early June. The credit component also offers students the opportunity to try classes at their high school of residence. Students can participate in sports and other activities at their high school of residence.
